An Experience of Excellence
Quinton and Abby helped us (2 couples) put together a wonderful safari and wineland private tour in South Africa. They came already recommended from a dear friend who had used Africa Explore Safaris to coordinate his family tours but Quinton and Abby exceeded expectations. His company, knowledge (of culture, geography and wine), service quality and dedication to personalised experiences was amazing but above all what stood out was the integrity. He wanted to ensure that our experiences were authentic but sustainable for both locals and the wildlife, whether it be recommending safari experiences with good reputations, going out of his way to clear litter found along the tour, or ensure other tour guides adhered to a higher moral responsibility (e.g. not bothering locals at Bo-Kaap). I don't think we're obnoxious enough to claim moral superiority but in this day and age... it feels right. We'll be back.

Trip of a lifetime
We had a wonderful time in Victoria Falls and Botswana. Quinton & Abby were so easy to work with. They listened carefully to us, and asked many questions to make sure they were able to design the trip we wanted. And they did! They also communicated with us regularly. They were also there during our trip to provide support when and if we needed it. Our trip involved a visit to Victoria Falls (amazing!) and then off to Botswana and the Ogavango Delta and the Kalahari Desert. Our accommodations were as we had specified. I had injured my hip just as we arrived in Victoria Falls, and they contacted all of our accommodations, requesting that we be placed in a cabin/room as close to the main lodge as possible. Wonderful service! We got to see everything we had hoped to see, and so much more. This was quite the trip of a lifetime! We would absolutely use them again should we venture back to Africa!

South Africa Adventures!
We had an absolutely incredible dream vacation to South Africa, courtesy of Africa Explore Safaris. They came highly recommended through a personal referral who had utilized them for multiple trips. The planning process was simple. Quinton and Abby had several video meetings with us while discussing our interests. This was a 12 person, multi-generational trip and required some extra care with planning. They were thoughtful in the questions they asked and took time to understand our what the group wanted to do and what we were capable of doing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cape Town. We were lucky to have Quinton as our personal tour guide to see Table Mountain, penguins, the waterfront, and a lovely tour of downtown. We then went to wine country where we stayed at the most lovely resort at Boschendal. The cottage was perfect for a family stay and we loved having a kitchenette to keep our lovely market items. Finally, we wrapped up with a "not enough words can describe it" stay at Shamwari, Riverdene Lodge. The kids club/play structure alone was worth the stay! All tours, tickets and domestic flights were coordinated by Quinton and Abby. Even a WhatsApp group was created to ensure all received accurate and up to date travel plans. Quinton and Abby, thank you for the care you provided during planning and the two weeks of travel. We can't wait for you to plan our next trip back!

Incredible vacation in South Africa and Livingston Victoria Falls
Just returned yesterday from an incredible vacation in South Africa and Livingston Victoria Falls Quinton and Abby owners of Africa explore Safaris were amazing in putting this wonderful experience together. Began the South African adventure with Cape Town ,visit to the botanical garden in Cape Town the drive to Cape of Good Hope Boulder‘s home of African penguins wine country stay at luxurious hotels and cottages and the Shamwari private game reserve safari.saw a lot of lions , wild buffaloes rhinos, giraffe, elephants, spring bucks etc. Finally Livingston home of Victoria Falls. Zambia Zimbabwe was awesome ,magnificent this was possible because of the effort and personal care touch of Quinton and Abby. It was truly an unforgettable experience and if asked if I would do it again with Africa, explore Safari answer would be absolutely a big yes. Amazing Family Holiday!
Our family has just returned from an unforgettable holiday in South Africa - Botswana - Zambia. Thanks to Quinton and Abby at Africa Explore Safaris who made it so easy to enjoy our holiday, their extensive knowledge and planning really made it a no fuss holiday with everything from our amazing accommodation to flights sorted well before our arrival at each stop. The Atzaro Okavango Camp in Botswana was definitely a highlight of the trip. We would definitely recommend getting in touch with Africa Explore Safaris if you are planning a trip to Africa. Trip of a lifetime!
Our family has just enjoyed the most incredible holiday, thanks Quinton & Abby. The meticulous planning was evident throughout. South Africa- Botswana - Zambia we enjoyed a few nights in each beautifully appointed hotel to explore the local area without being rushed. There was something for everyone, no small feat given a group of 25, young & old. The newly opened Atzaro Okavango Bush Camp, Botswana was a major highlight. The safari’s, animals, guides, accommodation, food - everything 👌 Nothing was too much trouble even down to organising a last minute tour of Johannesburg before our flight. We have no hesitation in recommending Quinton & Abby for any African travel.

Fantastic memories of our South Africa family holiday!
Our family of 25 aged from 9 years to 71 years have just had the most amazing family holiday in South Africa. A huge part of the success was due to the organisation by the owners of this business - Quinton and Abby. We started in Cape Town, had a fantastic Christmas lunch at the Twelve Apostles Restaurant, rode to the top of Table Mountain for the most amazing views. Went to the Franschhoek wine region, visited Babylonstoren Gardens and much more. Had a fantastic time at the African Camps Atzaro Okavango Camp where we saw so many animals in the wild and had wonderful guides. The camp was pure luxury! Finally we went to Livingston and the magnificent Victoria Falls. A complete package organised perfectly by Quinton and Abby at Africa Explore Safaris. Thank you for the memories!
