We are experienced travelers, and we will always think like a traveler. We never lose sight of the needs, wants, and desires of the individual person wanting to enrich their lives through our uniquely curated travel experiences.
Starting before the turn of this century, Quinton spent many happy years traveling around Africa and leading tours and expeditions throughout Southern Africa, East Africa, and South America. A new and spectacular chapter of his life started when his path crossed with that of Abby on the 5th of April 2005 in Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
A successful partnership was formed immediately working as a team while conducting tours around Southern Africa, We established our company in 2006 so that we could help create lifelong memories for our guests from around the globe. We have been blessed to serve travelers from all walks of life over the years. From the backpacker labouring under the weight of their possessions crammed into the oversized backpack on their shoulders to the executives and their families arriving with a private chartered aircraft at their luxury destination in the African Bush. We have been blessed to create amazing personalized travel experiences for them all.
We have grown over the years and survived the challenges of recessions and lockdowns. We are a Boutique Travel Company by design, and we are poised to succeed as we continue to apply our knowledge and expertise to deliver to our clients the impeccable standard of service that we are known for.

Meet your Travel Advisor
We prefer to connect with you on a face-to-face meeting that can be conducted on any of the media platforms available to us today. This should happen very soon after your initial inquiry so that we may establish the important reasons for your travel, your preferred travel dates, and the package parameters.
Custom Planning
Following this meeting, your travel advisor will proceed with the planning phase to produce a first draft of your travel package and discuss the basic payments options with you. Once you have studied this proposal and provided us with feedback, we will continue to customize the package until we achieve a perfect fit for you – no matter how long this may take. This process will result in you receiving in-depth information about every aspect of your trip and all the amazing locations that you will visit. An Itinerary setup fee is levied for this thorough and time consuming research , and the fee will be discussed with you by your Travel Advisor.
Personalized Planning
We take exceptional care to consider and understand your wish list, your activity level, your budget, and your time constraints to create a travel itinerary that exceeds your expectations. We communicate with you throughout the planning and welcome any amendments and alterations that you may desire.
Itinerary development
As soon as we have all the elements your itinerary together, we will present the full itinerary to you for your review and feedback so that we can fine tune all the arrangements until it is a perfect fit for you.
Travel Confirmation
When the itinerary meets all your requirements, your Travel Advisor will explain the final payment structure and we will commence with the arrangements as soon as you have signed off on the final itinerary and made the initial commitment payment. The Safari Setup Fee that you have provided will be deducted from the Full Safari Package fee.
On-Tour Support
Every detail of your trip will be managed with the utmost care by the team at Africa Explore Safaris. We specialize is securing the ideal Safari Lodges and hotels and ensure that all aircraft and vehicle charters, guided tours and activities are in place to provide you with a seamless, stress free and smooth travel experience. You are supported by the team at Africa Explore Safaris throughout your trip.

Terms & Conditions
Travel Planning Fees Explained
Following the initial meeting and assessment call, Africa Explore Safaris reserves the right to charge an upfront Itinerary Setup Fee to create the first draft of your itinerary planned according to your specifications. The level of the setup fee depends on the length and content of the travel itinerary, and this will be clearly explained by your Travel Advisor before the planning phase commences. This fee is non-refundable, but it will be deducted from the full itinerary fee in the event that the travel itinerary is accepted and confirmed.
Payments & Deposits
Once the travel itinerary is accepted by the client, Africa Explore Safaris will confirm all services with our trade partners before the required non-refundable deposit payment is due. Availability and prices quoted are valid at the time of our confirmation of the itinerary but cannot be guaranteed until the deposit payment is completed and received. PLEASE NOTE – Certain suppliers reserve the right to adjust prices to cover costs outside of their control which may include increased government taxes, fuel increases, conservation fees, entrance fees and tariffs. Such price adjustments are outside of our control and will be added to the rates quoted for the final payment on the itinerary
On-trip Support & Client Responsibility
All confirmations of flights included on the itinerary are subject to availability and prices may be subject to change after the date of the deposit payment due to fuel surcharges, increases in government taxes, baggage fees, or seat assignment fees. Copies of the passports of all travellers are required to confirm airline reservations. Name changes are not permitted on airline reservations.
It is the client’s responsibility to provide Africa Explore Safaris with the correct legal names as reflected on the valid passport, pertaining to all the travellers in the group. Traveller information provided must include medical and dietary requirements. Africa Explore Safaris is not responsible for additional costs incurred due to incorrect information provided for travel planning and reservations.
Africa Explore Safaris and our trade partners follow local health and safety protocols applicable at the time of travel. In the event of closures or travel disruptions at the time of travel, we will work to provide alternative options at a similar level of service and quality as originally planned.
It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that they are in possession of all visas, vaccination certificates, and legal travel documents required for the selected destination(s). Passports must be valid for six months following the return date of the intended travel. The passport must have a minimum of two blank pages available for visa stamps.
All travellers are required to have adequate travel and health insurance coverage. It is advised that this cover is purchased immediately after you have confirmed your trip with Africa Explore Safaris.
